Senilife is the dietary supplement to help maintain normal brain function in elderly pets. It's blend of natural ingredients have been tested to show clinical signs of improvement after 7 days of treatment. 50% of pets are less lethargic, have more interest in playing, follow commands more readily, and 70% show improvement in night time moaning.
Senilife is safe for use throughout a dog or cat's entire lifetime and may be most effective if given from an early age.
Senilife acts quickly in elderly cats and dogs. Within 7 days of treatment, pet owners report that:
- More than 50% of dogs showed improvements in energy, interest in playing and seems less apathetic or sad.
- More than 70% of dogs improved night time moaning
At one month of treatment, 86% of pet owners are satisfied with global improvement in their pets behavior and emotions.
When should you start giving Senilife to your dog or cat?
Brain aging starts at different points in your pet's life. Generally, larger breed dogs age more quickly than smaller dogs. Our suggested ages to start your pet on Senilife are:
- Dogs weighing 50+ lbs, start Senilife at age 6 years.
- Pets weighing 22 – 49 lbs, start Senilife at age 7 years.
- Pets weighing 0-21 lbs, start Senilife at age 8 years.
Since Senilife is made from all natural ingredients and there are no adverse side effects, it is completely safe to use Senilife proactively, before you actually start to see the clinical signs of aging. Giving your pet Senilife earlier in life may help postpone the effects of brain aging.
What are the clinical signs of brain aging in pets?
- Disorientation – your pet may be confused about the entrance to your home, or spend time staring off into space endlessly
- Loss of learned behavior – your pet starts soiling in the house, no longer responds to commands he/she knows such as sit or stay
- Sleep cycles are disrupted – your pet may seem agitated when sleeping, moaning is common
- Indifference – your pet may be uninterested in playing or socializing as it once did
- Behavior changes – your pet may become more aggressive to family members, other pets
- Excessive vocalization in cats or barking in dogs with no apparent reason

About the ingredients:
- Phosphatidylserine (PS) is an orthomolecule (ie. a substance naturally present in the body) with a phospholipid nature which constitutes one of the main "building blocks" of the cell membranes. PS not only facilitates the neuronal activities that depend on the cell membrane (i.e. release of secretory vesicles) but can also restore the correct levels of the neurotransmitters (e.g. acetylcholine and dopamine), normalize the density of neuronal receptors (e.g. muscarinic receptors and NGF receptors) and in macroscopic terms act on the typical signs of cognitive deficit, improving memory, orientation, learning and social behavior.
- Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) has been reported to be a coenzyme for the synthesis of different neurotransmitters (i.e. serotonin), thereby supporting PS in normalizing neurotransmitters levels and synaptic transmission.
- Ginkgo biloba, the active components of Ginkgo biloba extract (flavonols, ginkgolides and bilobalides) protect brain cells (neurones and astrocytes) by exerting antioxidant and cerebrovascular effects. They are further involved in maintaining brain metabolism and glucose uptake.
- Resveratrol, a polyphenolic compound found in grapes - has been shown to protect neurons against toxicity of free radicals and beta-amyloid peptides. In an animal model of neurodegeneration it was able to prevent spatial memory deficits. Recent evidence suggests resveratrol to be a therapeutic candidate in the management of age-related dementia.
- Vitamin E, which is contained in its natural form (d-alpha-tocopherol), strengthens the antioxidant effects of Ginkgo biloba.
